Fantasy

I crave reality so much I gobble fantasy, 

I drown in music, 

I memorize old shows at times I should be sleeping...

Cause there's no reality

Nothing barely real in this messed up society... 

It's all fake, 

covered in hypocrisy,

appearance...

Egos, power, control, greed...

That's the real world we live in, 

There's no peace, 

no justice, no connection...

Fuck it 

Fuck it all. 

That's why I keep my dragons! 

I seek no magic, no power,

just humanity, connection,

basic understanding,

knowledge, selfawareness...

Hope... 

Just a bit, just enough 

to endure reality when it hurts the most...

When it tends to banish

When it keeps going nonetheless.
